I've made it!! 11OCT2009
It has been so long since i have updated this. Have no real excuse as to why. But the important thing is that i am now.
When i left you last time, i was just preparing for a VERY exciting month of APRIL.
Well to start off, The basement is now completed and looks fantastic, I only wish i could have done more to complete/finish the job i started. But Allison's dad hired a guy who does that for a living, so i suppose it was just for the best. Not to mention we had a lot of stuff going on at the time. next was moving out of the town house and into the basement. WE HAVE SO MUCH STUFF!!! and its not even that much junk... ok maybe a little bit of junk. but they always say, one mans trash is another mans treasure. but in my blood line its more like, every body's trash is the Doyle's treasure. But I am here to stand tall and say no to trash. I will advocate against hording and collecting of items that just take up attic space and act as dust catchers. i mean sure, the items that become markers in time for those special days in life. Are COMPLETELY acceptable. For example, me keeping EVERY skateboard deck that i had broken from elementary school to senior year in high school is a bit ridiculous. With Allison, its all the old toys, teddy's and old magazines to address. But she has come up with a GREAT method of clearing cludder in life. EBAY!! So that is basically how we are going to try and get rid of some of our stuff. It wont be for a while, but we will be moving mountains of pretty cool stuff soon.

Next on the list... MARRIAGE!!!!! probably the best day of my life. I wasn't even nervous at all. It was more a feeling of, finally :) Life had come together as i knew it, all planets were in order, my cat didn't have gas anymore and we made it on TV. OK my cats gas and the planets have nothing to do with it, but i made a bet to one of my buddies in my barracks that i could incorporate cats-gas and planets into a blog about my marriage. so mission SUCCESSFUL!!! LOL. but back to my story, as you can see to the picture on the left, this wedding was one to remember. just that photo alone says it all. a postcard wedding on a budget of 1000$ or less. PRICELESS !!! A bunch of Allison's family came as well as mine. The wedding took place on the orange roller-coaster in the mall of America. there were fifteen couples to celebrate 15 years of service with the chapel inside the mall. It was no slouch for media attention. I mean when it makes it onto CNN you know your fifteen minutes of fame hit the big time :) But all i cared about was the beautiful girl in the hand made vale, brown sandals, wearing a beautiful white blouse, tank-top and skirt/dress. She looked Gorgeous. I was given so many complements on how beautiful she was, it was the best. I
I still get complements about her all the time. I really did luck out with Allison. We are a match
made in heaven. After the Wedding, we spent a wonderful couple of evenings at the grand casino
milacs. I wish i could have given her a more luxurious honey moon. But we both had come to an
agreement on a second honey moon down the road where we could splurge a little bit more.
Alright guys, that explains a-little bit about what happened before i had
left. I am going to save a whole blog about what happened at Boot Camp and A.I.T. because i
graduate A.I.T. next week. So i will be updating this hopefully allot sooner then last time.
THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR READING THIS!!!
sincerely,
PVT. Doyle, Shawn, S.
